HALLOWEEN Sensory activity

BOO my SPOOKTACULAR readers. Welcome to my Halloween series. The month of October il be sharing some fun, scary, tips and ticks to get you excited and ready for Halloween.

Today I will be sharing a Simple Halloween Sensory Bin for Toddlers.  Sensory activities are so good for toddlers, gives them a chance to grow and learn in a supervised environment.

We recently done this and it’s been a hit, hours of fun.

  Materials
  • Rice
  • Red food dye (or any colour you wish)
  • Container
  • White vinegar
  • Plastic spiders

Method
  • 1 table spoon of white vinegar for 1 cup of dry rice. (I used 3 cups rice)
  • 2 tablespoon of food dye (or desired amount)
  • Put rice in a zip lock bag and add wet ingredients in
  • Shake shake shake shake
  • Spread rice out in a flat tray and leave out to dry for 3 hours
  • Move into a clear bowl and add plastic spiders or any other spooky creatures.

These can also be used a ‘Centerpieces’ if hosting a party.

Hope this activity makes your family ‘SCREAM’ with delight :)
