One of the best and memorable gifts someone can give is a wrist watch. For kids especially, receiving your first watch would be exciting, to get it in your favourite colour, pattern would be fantastic, it sure was for my girls.
Aside from teaching my girls how to read the time, I wanted them to have one to help with showing them importance of being independent, a peek into the world of grown-ups.
I've looked at lots of places to buy my girls their "first wrist watch" and happy to have found a Australian company called Cactus watches.
We tested out two watches
Pink- Time teacher collection
This pink watch helps assist in teaching time, the face is specially designed with outer ring marked with; 5 past, 10 past, 1/4 passed and so on. It’s suitable for ages 4-9 years. Made with a soft silicone band it’s easy to have it on without a bother, it’s very light. Comes packaged in a “Cactus” globe Box.
Purple- Junior, bedazzled collection
This watch is gorgeous, would be the next one up once you have learnt to tell the time. It has diamonte around the case , and a tiara charm. it’s perfect for the older kids, 5-10 years old. The band is PU material, with princess print, also comes packaged with cactus globe box.
Cactus watches Is Australia's #1 brand for kids digital watches, analogue time teachers and smartwatch fitness trackers for children through to teenagers.
