Feel healthy inside and out tips using Carusos

This year I was lucky enough to attend the Kids Blogger Brunch and meet some of my fellow mummy influencers and connect with some amazing brands.

I was really excited to see Carusos at the event again this year, as I really fell in love with their brand story last year. Caruso’s Natural Health is 100% Australian-owned family company established in 1982 by Frank Caruso. I’m always swowed when I hear Frank speak – he is truly inspirational.

Frank's philosophy is simple; "Make time for good health and you'll always have enough health for a good time!” I’ve really been trying to live by this ever since I first heard it, and I think it’s such a great message to give to my kids when teaching them the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Frank inspired me to share with you how I make time for good health in my family. As a Mum on-the-go, these tips help keep me feeling beautiful inside and out!

Get Your Vitamins In
I’ve been taking the Caruso’s Women’s Super Multi for years now, and it’s really become part of my morning routine. I used to struggle to remember to take supplements, but working it into your daily schedule is the key to consistency. I wake up, drink a glass of water (for that healthy glow) and take my vitamins before I even check my phone. Once it’s a habit, you’ll never forget.

Smile
I’ve learned to love my smile – when you’re a Mum, you’re so focused on keeping your kids happy and healthy that you naturally get over a few of those nagging beauty hang-ups. It sounds silly, but making time to smile, either at my girls, at my husband, or at a stranger in a shop makes all the difference. Mental health is just as important as physical health. Remember what you’re grateful for, and smile about it!

Hydrate
Another part of my beauty routine is hydration. Lots and LOTS of water. I try adding some mint or lemon in my water to give it a nicer flavour – and the infusions are really good for you too. Try citrus fruit for detoxing, berries for a low-fructose sweetness hit, or grapefruit to rev up your metabolism.

Go for Collagen
Collagen seems to be on everybody’s mind in 2018 – and it’s no surprise. Collagen is what’s responsible for healthy hair, nails and skin, and taking a collagen builder supplement can help your body support its natural production. I take Caruso’s Super Collagen Builder, which is a powerful mineral and antioxidant formula packed with essential nutrients to give you that healthy, glowing look. Forget brittle nails and split ends – using a collagen builder can strengthen even the weakest nails. As for my skin – ladies, it’s never looked so good!

Eating The Rainbow
It sounds cliché, but the more colours on your plate, the better. I try to eat veggie-packed meals every day, and make sure the girls’ lunchboxes are packed full of nutrients too. Not only will your skin thank you for it, you’ll find yourself with buckets of energy, and an immune system that can sustain the winter chill.

Have you tried Caruso’s? What’s your favourite product? The range is available in over 3,000 pharmacies and health food stores throughout Australia, so get started on your winter health kick!

  5. Smiling is so important! It is the easiest way to make you look beautiful if you ask me. I don’t take many supplements, but I have thought about taking more, just to cover the parts of my diet I miss, like fish xx
