I’ve recently been taking the girls to some of the Merlin Entertainment experiences, and they’ve had so much fun. It’s great to get them out the house and off the couch at weekends, especially in winter when it’s dark and damp outside.

I recently visited Sea life Sydney Aquarium with our Merlin Annual Pass – called the MAP – and it was so much fun. The girls absolutely loved exploring all the sea animals and learning about the different species. They found Nemo in the reef fish zone (aka the clown fish!) and thought the dugongs were so cute. Budgeting as a Mum of two girls under 5 is tough – of course as a parent you want them to be able to do everything. With the Merlin Annual Pass we don’t have to worry about setting aside cash for the weekend’s activities, as it’s all included. It’ll be so handy if we have a beach or park day planned and find out it’s pouring with rain (oh Sydney!). We can just head off to a Merlin venue instead!

With our family pass, we’ve spotted Penguins at Sea Life Sydney Aquarium, taken selfies with celebs at Madame Tussaud’s, walked through beautiful rain forest at Illawarra Fly AND got up close to Koalas at Wild Life Sydney zoo already – check out our photos below. The best part is, the kids never get bored of going back to the same place! There’s so much to discover at every venue, they’re still so excited to explore time and time again. The girls are already asking when we can go back to the aquarium, and it’s amazing as a parent to be able to take them again and again without worrying about money.

We’ll be keeping our pass handy for interstate trips, too. The girls are desperate to go to Melbourne and we’ll be able to go to the Legoland Discovery Centre while we’re there – all included with our pass.
